Our Process - Anything Excel

Discovery

We start by Listening. We want to understand the general nature of your business, current workflow process, and any ideas you may have. The information you provide us is our greatest asset in analyzing your current workflow process and ensuring that we develop the best solution possible. Once we are both confident that we fully understand your specific directives our team of experts will get to work collaborating on the best solution for you and your business.

Statement of Work

The Statement of Work (SOW) document defines the project requirements as they have been agreed upon through our discovery of your business solution needs. The SOW will cover the project goals, scope, timelines, deliverables, payment schedule, warranty period and signature of approval. The SOW assures that both parties are in agreement with the project from start to finish to ensure a great product and timely delivery.

Project Mockup

Once we have gathered the specific requirements for your project we will often present a mock-up of our proposed solution. A mock-up is a scale model or a prototype that will show in part the design and functionality of our proposed solution. Prototyping allows our customers to provide valuable feedback and get involved in the process of building the perfect solution.

Programming

During the programming phase we will start building the functionality for your customized solution. You will work directly with one of our project managers who will coordinate between you and our software engineers throughout the project. During this process you will start to see your solution come to life! Our team of experts will use the tools agreed upon in the SOW to develop your solution and then migrate it to the location of your choice.

QA & Final Review

Our project manager will schedule a final Go-to-Meeting for a final review and Q&A session before conclusion of the project. During this meeting every part of your project will be reviewed together including the end solutions processes and functionality. This is considered the last step in the development life cycle and an opportunity for the client to perform a final review before handing the completed solution over.

Testing & Debugging

Once we have delivered your business solution a warranty period (as outlined in the SOW) will go into affect. During this time while you test and use your new business solution we will promptly correct any bugs that may occur at no additional cost. After the end of the warranty period, Anything Excel reserves the right to charge an hourly rate for any additional time spent on the project with prior approval.

Launch

After the warranty period has ended and any final changes have been made, it is time to officially launch your customized business solution. Once you have signed off on the final completed project we will transfer the application and all source code to its final destination as agreed upon in our SOW. We will make the official launch and migration of your new customized business solution simple and seamless!
